Time Continues On

It's been a while since I've written on this and so I appologize. Things are just moving on here. Things are slow going with both Rachel and I looking for jobs, but she has had better luck than me. We're going to her school today to talk to a job placement person for her so she can find a job that is hopefully closer to Jamestown than Knoxville which is where her current job offer is. It's 28 degrees here already which is wierd, and when it gets cold it doesn't warm up for the whole day unlike AZ. I think the high was like 40 yesterday. Well, I'll try to keep this more updated. I love you guys.

Tennessee

Well, Moving wasn't that big of a deal suprisingly. Rachel and I got all our stuff packed into her little car (It was packed so much we couldn't see out the back, but that's ok) and Mom and Chelsea came and got the stuff that wouldn't fit. We left Huachuca City at 6:25 on Wednesday and I drove all but 2 hours to a hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas even though Rachel offered to drive more. We had a few problems, and left Mineral Wells around 12:30 Thursday. We didn't arrive in Jamestown, Tennessee till 6 A.M. Friday and I drove the entire way even though Rachel offered to drive again several times, but I was being stubborn. I went to the Allardt Pumpkin Festival today, and to the fireworks they had tonight. They had huge squash, watermelons, and a pumpkin that was over 1200 pounds!!! The pumpkin in the picture is the smallest I saw there but I didn't get pics of the others sorry. Well, I'll write more later.

September

Summer has come and passed, the innocent can never last, wake me up when September ends. Today was another day in the boring life of Vance, I sat around till my friend Rod came over and we hung out and played guitar for a bit, then I went to his house and we sat and talked about life. I went to the skate park in Sierra Vista for a little, then dropped Rod off, and now I'm just sitting at home waiting for Rachel to get off work. I can't wait for this month to be over so I can move. A real change in scene for once in my life. Well, that's about it for today.

First Blog

Today I finally created my blog. I just got back to Arizona from Tennessee. I went with my girlfriend Rachel to her family reunion. I'm just sitting at home reading my book and now doing this. I'm REALLY excited for moving to TN. It's so much different than here, but I know that no matter where I am I'll be happy with Rachel there.
